When the projet was organized in Russia, there participated 66 different educational establishments and youth culture clubs. The project was performed in 8 subjects of the Russian Federation.
In 2007-2013 there were performed 29 projects, 20 of them were accomplished. 59 educational establishments and organizations from 16 cities and 5 regions and republics took part in the project.
During this period about 4000 children and teenagers have taken part in the project in the North-West of Russia.

Cultural project "On the Border" institutes the Barents regional dialogue concerning civilization values. It is a non-commercial organization.
Since the year 2005 there have been performed 45 projects in 37 schools in 19 kommunes and 5 counties. About 1550 secondary school students took part in 75 performances for the audience of 8300 spectators. Due to the project there have been organized 4 summer camps.
On the 3rd of June 2008 the project was presented in the Storting (the Norwegian Parliament). The performance was supported by the Social Comittee.
The project participants took part in the Generation Conference in Bodø in 2011 in the Commune of Norland.
The Russian version of the performance was shown in Kirkenes in September 2013 and in Hamar in October 2013. It happened in co-operation with the Employment Centre.

Other Activities 2008:
Performance in the Storting and presentation of the project "Mission Macrell" on the 3rd of June 2008. The students of Hanstad school in Elverum County took part in the performance. The project was supported by the Social Comittee.
MacRell-Camp in Tana. Participants form Norway and Russia met on 8-13 July 2008. The program included research and break-dance and hip-hop seminar. At the end of the seminar there was shown a performance for citizens.

MacRell-dancers ("Arctic Rockers" from Murmansk and "Arctic Hips" from Berlevåg):
Performance "Varangernatta" ("Varanger Night") was shown in Kirkenes in February 2009. It happened in co-operation with the Norway Church.
The performance was shown in Petrozavodsk at the festival ”Gyldne Nøkler” ("the Golden Keys").

"Mission MacRell" is a project for school children and students. It is dedicated to disabled people and reveal the difficulties that they face in their everyday life.
The project is supported and financed by the Barents Secretariat, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saami Parliament, departments of Education, Health and Environment and different municipal grants.
The Norwegian Association of Disabeled People headed by Torel Heggen Munk has initiated this progect and supports it. Together with the cultural project "On the Border" there has been created the Norwegian-Russian project.
"Mission MacRell" is aimed at elimination of difficulties that disabled people come acroos in their everyday life. The project tries to make the world friendly and available for them. The project consists of musical performance and acessibility research. While participating in the project they get an idea of the difficulties disabled people face every day.
Torel Heggen Munk: "All people are born equal and are equally important. Women give birth to children of different colour, height and weight. The children also have different capabilities. But they have something in common - they want to be heard by the society, they want to take active part in life. And the society must remove the difficulties made by people. We must look insude us and change our attitude to this issue. We must not divide people into groups according to their skin colour or range of capabilities. Our opinion makes us choose what to do. That's what school children and students will study in this project".
